Wheat Wharf, Shad Thames SE1

Complete internal strip out and refurbishment of an apartment in an 1840s grade ll listed timber frames warehouse. The historic fabric had to remain unaltered and left exposed. The new rooms are carefully inserted and in and around the existing timbers. The existing floor is very uneven, so we created two levels with a step at a partition and door threshold.
